Time for soldering! PS: I had nothing to pay more than what I paid from Wonkystuff, no taxes, not VAT, nothing.
i never realised wonky stuff sold kit form modules im heading back over there to have a closer look ,cheers mate There are a limited number of kits (currently just the OG mm33, but the BioT was a kit too). Since the remaining modules are surface-mount (and need testing before I am willing to ship them), making them 'kit form' is actually a little trickier! (perhaps I should make some more 'analogue' designs )

Honestly the biggest thing putting me off is not the cost but the effort of removing all the new-style knobs to get the front panels off! Very true—I found it tricky putting the new knobs on my modules, wouldn't like to think about taking them off...

Well, Robert sells a thing for that now I have wiggled them off manually in the past - takes patience for sure but it's doable. Thankfully i actually have relatively few modules with the newer knobs on, so it's not so bad.

Todays discovery is that a spudger (i believe that’s the official name) makes a very adequate knob removal tool this one is from a kit for dismantling Nintendo consoles (also had a tool which handled unscrewing the front panels as well!)

Yesterday my TOPOGRAF and TBD arrived, and now i have a full week of vacation coming up, with very little planned. And my AE mounted in the new DIY enclosure and moved to it's new place in the cleaned out and organized basement.

Whaaat!? The weekend came early when you get an unexpected package from tangiblewaves. robertlanger sent me a replacement for my SWITCHMATRIX 4x4 which we expect to have a faulty EEPROM. Once the replacement is tested the old one goes back to Robert and his team for further autopsy duties.
So excited I could not even take a sharp picture. Thank you robertlanger for your excellent customer service. First test seems to look very promising.

The journey begins... Lovely panels, like a cross between Blacet (RIP John - great designer btw) and bugbrand. Love them!

<button disabled="" class="c-attachment-insert--linked o-btn--sm">Attachment Deleted</button> Received a lonnnnnnnng time ago but finally got the feeling that I could do it. Both worked right away 🥳. I know it's really simple for some but for example my last build was the biot and I needed to redo it three times before it worked 🤪. Anyway, happy and definitely sounds good 👍 Eyoooo, nice job on the soldering!

The little screen is so cute! But OMG there is so much to learn about this. Already had some fun with the little sequencer (so many different scales....) but barely even scratching the surface Kind of makes a nice little complete system in the mini rack now, just using the volca for clock and getting some massive Clouds of plucky ambience Definitely need to get black panels for those two remaining modules though

Hello moruial I really liked your videos and the soundtracks, very well done indeed. The AE ones were especially interesting, just shows what can be done with the instrument. Cheers
