It's a nice addition to the AEM.
Will it be only a tool to check out waves or will it have some output to include it in a patch just for the beauty of seeing a wave changing as we play?

Presented also as :
"And it will not be alone a scope, but also a spectrum analyzer, a voltmeter, a frequency meter, an oscillator calibration tool...!"

Oh, nice! That will be a great teaching tool for everyone. I also saw this drone synth on the Wonkystuff website, which runs on 5V and even kind of looks like an AEM module. Maybe they can be convinced to make a proper module? Here’s the DIY instruction PDF with the schematic and a link to the source code: wonkystuff.net/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/core1-Assembly.pdfSeems like it could be made into a module easily.

Hahaha! I’m sorry. I’m bad a keeping track of those things when they span a multitude of social media platforms. I’m really just browsing the forums here and check my e-mail, with the occasional glimpse into the Discord chat. The Wonkystuff stuff just went past me completely.

I’m really just browsing the forums here and check my e-mail, with the occasional glimpse into the Discord chat. The Wonkystuff stuff just went past me completely. just kidding ;] .. i’m actually worse, i don’t have ‘social’ media accounts and i hadn’t seen the previous discussion on the page with namke performance vid but followed the breadcrumb trail from Roberts facebook about the upcoming oscilloscope.. i only just got in touch with Wonkystuff to get on board with this yesterday! it will be good if he gets enough demand for at least a couple of runs as i guess that will encourage a few more ‘wonky’ AE modules.. i’m looking forward to that. i was hoping Robert would do a matrix mixer at some point so this is great ,, the upcoming preset matrix isn’t the same thing but i imagine the two together plus a couple of VCswitchers could cause absolute mayhem! ( robertlanger any news on it being in the next batch of newbies? ) anyway.. back ‘on thread’ the oscilloscope looks magnificent!

"Fun" fact : I recently listened back to Pulse Demon by merzbow, and noticed for the first time how awesomelly layered it was, and the mix between the layers ever changing.
I was asking myself how a matrix mixer could help achieving so much variety inside a modular, a preset recorder must be useful too.
I can't wait to try those!

Apologies all — I'm not the most organised as you might be able to tell. I have been bursting to talk about the oscilloscope module for a while, so I am very glad robertlanger posted otherwise I might have exploded As for the matrix mixer, it seemed like a relatively simple start into AEModular modules — I'm of course hoping there will be a second run, depending on demand of course. I have some other ideas as well, since the AEModular format fits in with things I have been working on for a couple of years now. At the moment, prebuilt stuff is all made by hand by me, so there is a little bit of a 'boutique' feel, but I hope to keep up with demand of course… that's one of the reasons for small batches. Feel free to PM me here, find wonkystuff on facebook/twitter/instagram/youtube or email info@wonkystuff.net (subscribers to the youtube channel will be much appreciated so that we can get a better URL at least!!)

I love the look of this! What's the front panel made out of, is it wood? Looks seriously sharp!

The panel is made of PCB material Yes, it is -- seeing as I have no laser cutter like Robert has, I thought that I would experiment The material is 1.6mm thick FR4 (a fibreglass material) and is quite rigid enough for this purpose! (There are two panel variations (one on each side), for a little bit of customisation)
