Sorry, I know this question can be a little odd... but what’s the current waiting time to receive a order from the site? i am asking because I have noticed that the note about the shipment taking longer than usual is reported only on the “starter pack“ pages. Single modules and accessories don’t have this note. So what’s the story? In any case is it really a 2 months wait? Thank you.

Hi and welcome to the forum chiptuna! This is the most asked question of all time, everyone wants the AE NOW It says on the front page of the website that wait times are about 2 months and that is for any order. You might get lucky and slip in under, but please understand that it's only Robert with two part time staff doing all the work at the moment. You might also want to check in with Juno or Noisebug (depending where you live) as they sometime have modules in stock and can deliver those much quicker. Details here: www.tangiblewaves.com/dealers.html

In any case is it really a 2 months wait? ...or longer, if you need anything "peculiar" or have a particularly large order. But believe me, it's worth every second of the wait time!

I believe it’s worth every minute of waiting 😉 I live in UK, but unfortunately Juno has a very limited stock... I’m only getting the case and a couple of modules from them (it is actually almost everything they have at the moment 😬). Well... better be quick and stop asking stupid questions! 🤣

Just yesterday we had shipped a big box to Juno, so chances are good to get there what you want in a week or so. I would recommend to contact them! BTW: We are really working hard to get the delivery times back to normal; I know very well how hard waiting for new gear is ;-)

Hello AE noob here. I can confirm that Juno have taken delivery and have updated their website and ebay listings. Oh I almost forgot to mention that I ordered a Starter Rack 2 and added a 4I/O Module in the hope that I will be able to connect my Arturia MiniBrute 2s.

I wonder if that's all they're getting? Was hoping for a couple of the new bits will perhaps have to order those from Robert direct?

I ordered a starter rack 2 in early June and haven't gotten my email that the order is in the que yet. I sent them a couple of emails before reading that orders are a few months behind. I am happy to wait but would love an update.

I ordered in May, a starter rack 2 and some extras, including a braedboard module. I was getting a bit nervous. Apparently the braedboard was the holdup. Mine is shipping today!

What is the latest situation on the back log ? I placed an order 2 months ago and have not had any updates since then.
It would be nice if there was some sort of communication to say why there are these hold ups.

I have ordered May 27, and only got the mail telling my order is in production 10 days ago. I don't know how it is relevant to your order since it is a pretty big order.
So the delivery time is longer than what's told on the website, but, having ordered three packages already, I'm pretty sure you don't have to worry, it's coming even though it takes time ^^

If I had to offer a tiny bit of feedback on the delivery process - when shopping for modules the text "Available for shipping" may cause some to think their order will be sent out sooner than it actually is? My recent order of a couple of modules took about a month to arrive - and this is absolutely not a complaint, i knew what to expect - but I can imagine people thinking individual modules might simply be plucked off a shelf and dispatched within a few days, with delays reserved for more complex builds. Just a thought. Meanwhile I am happily waiting for my next order to enter production... after this I will stop spending ££... for now... maybe...

Yeah, Robert & co. are whipping these things together at what's got to be a breakneck pace for just three people. So, yeah, it takes a bit. Don't worry about it, though...Tangible Waves' is 100% reliable!

I made my first AE order in the middle of May 2020 - a custom 1-row rack, with that optional request that the modules be pre-installed in the case by Robert or one of his helpers. Production/assembly began in the middle of August, and it shipped at the start of September. It took 2.5 weeks to get to the United States, 1.5 weeks to get through US customs, and 1 week to get to me. It arrived today! 😃 Woohoooooooooooooooo
Thank you Robert and helpers!

Appreciate reading everyone's comments. My question is about the payment.
If it can take upwards to several month's before getting a purchase processed and shipped, will the processing be charged those month's prior, or will it be billed/paid on the shipping day.
I ask because during this Covid Craziness, many of us are having to count our finances a bit tighter. And to have a large chunk of change sitting in limbo will create some havoc for some.
So summary question is....will payment start at time of ordering... or at time of shipping said purchase? And if something odd happens... what procedures do we have in place to cover/refund back of said purchase price?

Got the notice that Gargantua's additions are in build now...about two months or so on, which is consistent with AE's usual leadtime. Which, when you think about it, is pretty amazing given the BIG uptick in interested parties in recent months.

The 4 I/O will definitely mean being able to connect your Minibrute, indeed all the patchbays in/outs using the same cables! It's a module everyone needs, unless the AE is their only piece of kit...
