GRAINS can also do a pretty good FM I haven't built an FM synth yet for GRAINS, now I gotta think about it. Half an hour since you posted this.... where is it?

Personally, I'd favor SEQ8 over SEQ16. You could get two of them in the same space (or add a TRIG164, Euclid Grid, RBSS or Quantizer). This all depends on whether you plan to sequence from the rack internally, or (eg, via MIDI) with external gear.
I also see that you added ADSR instead of 2ENV. The 2ENV are loopable, so they can also work as LFO. Not sure if the same is true for ADSR. Maybe take one of each?

Agreed, it really bugs me that seq16 does not provide raw cv outputs like seq8 does. +1 for trig16 it has definitely become the backbone in most of my patches nowadays.

Now I ordered the system I described above and added an MIDICLOCK DIVIDER. SEQ8 and some FX or more sound generators, filters an so on will be follow later. Now I have to be patient...

I've got one ready now, with 2- and 3-operator algorithms, and the 2-operator algorithm has self-modulation. Working pretty well. Should have it out in a day or two I think.
