This time AEM init's natural environment - among other synths providing different clocks and melodies intertwined with the other sounds. It's called Acid evening in the old home as we’re moving away the day after tomorrow to the new one. 00:00 Neutron - rather busy patch with SQ1 controlling pitch of the oscs, resonance and LFO rate, and LFO causing changes of waveshapes of the second osc plus attenuated LFO Uni affectng the Delay time) 00:08 Volca Kick adding some punch 00:14 AE Modular (acidic bass melody - hence the title- and rhythmical sweeps) 00:27 Volca sample 00:41 Volca FM with my patch called GentleDuo which I like for it’s behavior - one sound when pressing the keyboard and another one at release 01:07 Volca Beats 01:45 Monologue - with single scream-like sound Behringer Xenyx 1202FX for mixing and additional fx Zoom R8 for recording and mastering Enjoy

Some Soft Laces anyone? The title comes from overall gentle mood and multilayered sound of this track 00:00 Monologue sequence1 00:34 AEModular (sequence delayed by onboard Delay module, which gives nice multilayered sound and it’s Wasp filter is modulated randomly by attenuated S&H fed by Noise) 00:52 Volca Sample 01:20 Monologue sequence2 01:49 Volca Kick 02:34 Neutron 03:18 Volca Beats 03:32 Volca FM 04:10 Monologue sequence1 Additional equipment: Korg SQ1 for sequencing the Neutron Behringer Xenyx1202FX for mixing and some additional FX Zoom R8 for mastering and recording Dawless, live, no overdubs Enjoy

Wires in the sky00:00 Behringer Neutron 00:09 Volca Kick/AEM first voice - I love it's low pulsating sound, it suports Kick's punches very well and set the tone for the whole track 00:18 Korg Monologue 00:24 AEM second voice (gradualy emerging sequence) 00:38 Volca Sample - with strings and flute and some blades;) 00:56 Volca Beats 01:33 Volca FM (I've made interresting chaotic/metallic patch) 02:49 Yamaha PSS480 (I like how it's high and clean tones go with rather gritty and a bit acidic Monologue) Korg SQ1 for sequencing Neutron and sending gates to AEM first voice Behringer 1202 FX for mixing and some additional FX Zoom R8 for recording and mastering Enjoy

I have reasons to celebrate:) I've received the Kick module I won in the competition, and Robert gave me a flattering mention in his blog entry (yay!) Is there any better way to celebrate than made the whole track with AEM only, with my fresh Kick as the driving force? So here it is: Hooray for the Kick! You may hear and see my (rather busy) patch under the link. Here goes the detailed description for the curious: 2OSC: 1st osc saw tooth -> WASP(2): in 2OSC: 2nd osc square -> 2OSC: cv1 VCO(1): square -> VCO(2): mod VCO(2): saw tooth -> WASP(1): in NOISE: A out -> WAVEFOLDER: in LFO(1): square -> BEAT DIVIDER: multi LFO(1): sawtooth -> VCO(2): pwm LFO(1): trigger -> ENV(1): gt LFO(1): trigger -> VCO(2): sync LFO(2): square -> WASP(1): cv LFO(2): sawtooth -> NYLE: cv1 LFO(2): trigger -> 3VCSWITCH: gate1 WASP(1): lp -> 2VCA(1): in1 WASP(2): lp -> 2VCA(1): in2 ENV(1): out -> 2VCA(1): cv1 ENV(1): out -> SEQ16: clk ENV(2): out -> WASP(2): cv1 ENV(2): out -> 2VCA(2) cv1 2VCA(1): out1 -> DELAY: in 2VCA(1): out2 -> MIXER4-4: a2 NYLE: out -> SPRING REVERB: in BEAT DIVIDER: multi -> BEAT DIVIDER clk BEAT DIVIDER: multi -> STEP10: clk BEAT DIVIDER: outa -> LOGIC: 1a BEAT DIVIDER: outb -> LOGIC: 1b STEP10: trig -> KICK: trig SEQ16: cv -> 2ATT/CV: in1 SEQ16: cv -> NYLE: cv resonance SEQ16: cv -> NOISE: cv SEQ16: gate -> DELAY: cv SEQ16: accent -> ENV(2): gt1 MIXER4-4: outa -> MASTER: audio1 MIXER4-4: outa -> MASTER: audio2 LOGIC: nand -> WAVEFOLDER: cvshp LOGIC: and -> 3VCSWITCH: 1a LOGIC: xor -> 3VCSWITCH: 1b LOGIC: inv3 -> 2VCA(1) cv2 2ATT/CV: out1 -> VCO(2): cv DELAY: out -> MIXER4-4: a1 SPRING REVERB: out -> DELAY: in2 2VCA(2): out1 -> MIXER4-4: a4 3VCSWITCH: io1 -> LOGIC: in3 WAVEFOLDER: out -> 2VCA(2): in KICK: out -> MIXER4-4: a3 Knobs acction: mixer's knobs plus ATT/CV level 1 knob, DELAY's dry/wet knob and NYLE's cv1 knob. Switch acction: SEQ16 steps switched to 8 at the begining and at very end with clock wire pulled off for holding the last note untill fade out Enjoy! P.S: of course dawless, of course one take, of course I'm still amazed by this beast of a synth <3

Another pure AEModular it’s called Alive and Kick-in as it’s dedicated to my new Kick module. It comes in around 16th second with a mighty, punchy sound and I bloody love it It’s rather simple module, with very few tweak possibilities, nevetheless its very good sounding and gets the job done, but it may be further altered and modified to achieve more interesting results. Here it was Wave-Foldered, Delayed and Wasp-Filtered which resulted in a tasty bass sound You may hear almost throughout the whole track. Enjoy

Hell? Yeah!
The first part of the song represents the offer from the title and the second an eager acceptance and make it loud to do justice to this track! \m/ 00:00 AEM (synth voice and kick in perfect arythmic synchronisation) 00:11 Volca FM 00:16 Volca Sample 00:24 Volca Kick 00:33 Korg Monologue 00:59 Yamaha PSS480, I love it’s eerie sound 01:34 Volca Beats 02:06 Behringer Neutron 03:18 Behringer Xenyx 1202 (everything gets drowned in it’s Reverb effect) additional equipment: Korg SQ1 for Neutron, Zoom R8 for mastering and recording Enjoy:)

Modular melancholyAll AE Modular (did I mention I just love this synth?) plus Yamaha PSS480 for piano-like sound at 1:37 additional hardware: Korg SQ1 for sequencing one of AEM osc -the one with dirty drone-bass sound Behringer Xenyx 1202 for additional fx near the end Zoom R8 for recording and mastering Dawless, no overdubs Have fun Oh, a bit raw and occasionaly "in your face" sound of this track was inspired by Jung An Tagen "Das Fest der Reichen" - check him out for some modular goodness

Hello arti, this is again a very interesting and beautiful piece! I really like the samples that you included here and I smack myself for selling my Volca Sample! You now have a very impressive catalogue of tracks ... did you ever think about releasing an album on Bandcamp, eg. a Best Of?

Hello arti , this is again a very interesting and beautiful piece! I really like the samples that you included here and I smack myself for selling my Volca Sample! You now have a very impressive catalogue of tracks ... did you ever think about releasing an album on Bandcamp, eg. a Best Of? I agree with admin , some interesting and nice sounds there admin , if you're looking for a sampler, I can let you have my old Akai S2000 for a steal... sadly, it's the size of small car and would likely cost more to post than for you to fly to the UK I do still use my little Korg ES-1, which is getting quite old now. Having said that, it works well as a simple way to create my own drum kits and then make some beats, or to just fly in samples - if you don't want to use a DAW, of course and you don't mind those huge old Smart Media cards. I have also considered a Bastl MicroGranny a few times and if it was just that bit cheaper I still might. Bandcamp is great, even if you set the price at zero (i.e. "name your price"), as you never know who will hear it and like it. Others here may disagree, but if it's money you're after then do something else, but for the pure pleasure of knowing that someone, somewhere is enjoying your music, Bandcamp works well. Plus, it does sometimes make you the price of a cup of coffee or two, and gains you some nice words about your music. Who could ask for anything more...?

Thank You admin and spacedog for Your appreciation. It means a lot for me - really I have never thought about bandcamp, having one place with my music seems enough for me (right now there are already two (Tumblr plus Soundcloud - where I've reached the limit). My music is there for those reasons Spacedog have mentioned, as it's all for free. And I guess I'm oldfashioned guy who needs a physical medium to hold in my hands to know the album was released. So if I fancy to make an album I'll look for some small cassette label or something like that, not for the money, but for the feeling of putting an album out for real Keep patching!

Haha! Yes, I like to do some arts and crafts type of things every now and then. Generally though, releasing tapes today is easy and affordable. My recent AE Modular WÆVER tape came like a regular cassette in a transparent case and a printed J Card, which I ordered online. I recorded the blank tapes at home on my secondhand Denon tape deck then myself one by one (25x 20 minutes wasn’t too bad). I like Bandcamp not only for the ease of releasing and selling physical media, but also because it’s a very simple and focused user interface for discovering and listening to music, something which I never had much fun with on SoundCloud somehow. Bandcamp feels more like a traditional music distribution platform and not like yet another social media thing with feeds, comments, likes, etc. cluttering up the experience. Anyway, I would also welcome Bandcamp album or compilation releases from you arti, and everyone else here in fact

I don't have all those new fancy modules yet, (oh but I'll make my order as soon as I'll get my Tax Refund ) so I've decided to follow wherever my trusty AE would take me and here is the result. Just good old AE modules firing on all cylinders! Would You like to trance?
Just AE with additional FX from the external mixer. No overdubs, live recording. That was fun!

Again Abused Electronics Modular only. Plus additional delay from the external Behringer 1202FX mixer After some heavy bass exploration in the system I wanted to search for more gentle sounds and I think the quest was succesful. It took 2x16 AEM rack and 46 patch cables Welcome to The Enchanted Forest of The Abused Electronics

Here is my little fun project called ADSR in the USSR. The theme was inspired by soviet graphics used in 101 performances. AEM starts the show with some bizzare squeeky sounds and all other gear comes in gradualy. Warning: vintage soviet speach samples included. Attachments:
