I only noticed it now, yikes! What is that thing? is that homemade? if so how did you construct that?
It's not even real cassette. It's a patch (the one you can sew on your jacket) glued to one of the blank panels to look cool. And as such I must say it does a pretty good job
If I were to organize the diy kits I built in order of complexity the it would be biot, daedband, quad booster, the AE diy kit is not in this list because that one you can make as hard as you want but for me it was somewhere on the same level as the quad booster because I had to figure the routing out and cram all the components on the little perfboard.
indeed! though the pesky manufacturers made the header slots in the second run a smidge too small even though it was the same spec as v1 , so i must apologise to people that had to find a small file/kraft knife to shave out the hole to fit... super annoying , it turned the five minute job of soldering a few units up for people into a 30 minute job for me ... a curse on so called industrial standardisation!!

That's weird, it was a nice snug fit but I did not need to break out a knife to assemble my bioT v2, I was actually very impressed with the overall build quality of the whole kit.
