Hi AE users, first post here. Sorry if it's a newbie question but i just cant find the size of the eurorack adapter frames in HP. As a eurorack Folktek user i already have dupont modules in my eurorack setup and i'd like to add a 104HP boat to my config for using this Folktek stuff + AE modules. The eurorack adapters are ideal for me but for choosing between 8/12/16U i want to translate that U units in HP. And a second question : if i understand, i have to add an AE power or AE master in the adapter frame, but do i have to add also external power for that mandatory module to be powered or is it powered within the frame by the connection to eurorack ? 1U (AEM) = 25 mmm
1HP (Eurorack) = 5 mm
1U (AE) = 5HP (Euro)
AE modular Eurorack adapter frame 8U = 40HP / 16U = 80HP.
On AE modular Eurorack adapter frame, 2U are occupied by the mandatory MASTER module. Via the module the frame is powered from the eurorack bus.

I was about to say 16U AEM is only slightly less that 84HP Eurorack.

I've seriously thought of getting the Eurorack adapter and mounting up on Eurorack rails just to make a strong case for my AE.

I'm not 100% sure about the POWER module, but the Master module definitely has a socket to connect to Eurorack power. So you wouldn't need an external power supply.
