Anybody know if any other of the Ae modules can invert a signal apart from the 2ATT/CV ?

thanks... good call , but i was kind of looking for something that had it as a kind of ‘extra feature’ rather than getting something that has that as it’s main function ... trying to rationalise and strip out modules and was looking to replace the 2ATT/CV with the 4ATTMIX ,, which can fulfil every function on there apart from the invert.. but yr answer got me squinting a bit more at the modules and i had missed that the LOGIC nand/xor unit has two inverters on inputs 3 & 4 .. so job done.. though i was pondering the Polamix at one point. |

My current understanding of the LOGIC's invert output is that it is a digital inversion, not analog like the 2ATT/CV. So LOGIC's invert output would only output trigger/gate information. I've never patched a CV signal into it to try, though. |

I've never patched a CV signal into it to try, though. well.. if my memory is correct ( and that’s definitely NOT a given ) i have patched a cv from a Volca Modular through the Logic invert, which was the only way to get the pitch info from the Volca sequencer to work .. it seemed to work ok... but i can’t be absolutely certain it wasn’t the 2ATT/CV.. i guess a bit of checking is in order. but thanks for that info... it will be important to check before making any purchase decisions. |
