I've been buying my AE bits from Juno Records lately. Is there any news on the items listed as 'Forthcoming' on the site?

(I've never seen them list 'forthcoming' items, so I wasn't really expecting them to take this long to get them up. Perhaps there's a customs hold up?)

I'm still surprised that they have the two B Stock two-row starter systems still available. I bought some B Stock modules from them a while back, some great bargains. I usually ring up and pick things up from them, which is quite fun and if you've ever been there you'll know what I mean. They are defintely not set up for retail

I asked the question to them earlier - no ETA. It's probably further off than I imagined then.

It's more like walking into a really untidy office. If I'm going, I will ring ahead and then pick up on the way home from work, I travel on the right Tube line anyway. First you have to get through the outer door, and I have found that no amount of ringing gets that bell answered, so I just wait for someone to come back from a break and tailgate them. If I'm lucky they're going to Juno and I can tailgate a second time, if not there's an inner door to negotiate and that involves waving through a glass panel until someone can be bothered to get up. They're not keen on people turning up unannounced either.
Now, if you're lucky they have got your goods ready, if not they have to go and find them, which can take quite a while and is usually met with, "Do we really sell that...?". Eventually, you get your goods and off you go. In reality, the postage is often free anyway, so unless it's really easy to get there I wouldn't bother. There is a demo room, which is how some of the B Stock is created and they have a good returns policy, which is how the rest of the B Stock is created.
When you've been there, the lack of knowing what's arriving and when begins to make more sense. They do sell good equipment for decent price of course. It's not like going to London Modular though and that's hardly great. I do remember going to The London Synthesizer Centre in the late 70's/early 80's and that was cramped and hot, but boy did they have some gear out for you to play
