Hey all! Hope you're all doing well. I've just released a new EP of weird glitchy electronica recorded almost solely on the AE Modular - thought I'd post it here if anyone's interested. The first track is sequenced with a Novation Circuit, but the other three are solely AE Modular, no sequencer or other sounds - and all recorded live with no dubbing. Awesome! Listening now Can you tell us more about the patches and the creation process? Ah, thanks a lot! Basically each of the ÆON tracks is trying out something different with the system. II is using a FM patch with operator pitch controlled by the S&H and white noise, which is filtered by an inverted path of that same signal. They all stem from the same fundamental ideas really, it's just patched differently and with different settings on the Multifx that change some of the drones drastically! The Topograf is great for rhythms, that's doing a lot of the legwork on I and III, both for kick and envelopes for filters. |

I love this album! My favourite track is Aeon II as there is so much going on there rhythmically. Well done!
