So, Sunday seems to be the day I have for regularly noodling and messing around with patching stupid things.... and of course, then this means I end up on the store. Again.
So, whilst browsing, I have a nose at the Quantizer. I had passed over this before because I have various synths and sequencers so didn't feel I needed it much.
But I note that as it has 4 channel input and output, is it at all possible to do this:
on Channel 1 input, say have the CV for a middle C, triggered by keyboard. That trigger will then trigger channel 2 to play the major third of the scale, and channel 3 to do the major fifth?
Assuming I have individual VCOs connected to those channels?
I hope I'm describing this correctly. In other words, I want to be able to get some sort of of polyphony of sorts, a bit like the Solina String I guess.
I'm not asking for it to change to minors and augmented, etc. Just go up and down accordingly to whatever root I play on channel 1.
I'm just wondering that using one (root) note on a keyboard in say channel 1 can be used to trigger those other notes on other VCOs?
Or am I expecting too much as per usual? I read the description several times, and I get what it does generally, but I'm not sure if I can do this is all.

Hi Daniel, to accomplish generating of chords you could use the QUANTIZER module as following: Add a certain voltage to the "root" CV, and this two times for third and fifth of the chord; then, run all three CVs through the QUANTIZER to snap them to the correct CV corresponding to the chord notes. Ok, you need two CV adders for this, like 4ATT/MIX, maybe the passive adder (B1...) on the MIXER module might work too. This is what comes to my mind first...
Of course, chord generation is generally an interesting topic and will be covered for sure in the future of AE, could be a module with a functionality like you describe it plus a lot of other features...

Sorry for the lateness of reply - but thank you as ever Robert. You give me food for though always. That's just cememnted in my mind my next modules to order

I have a question about QUANTIZER module as well, I just didn’t want to create a new thread for that: I got the module yesterday and I’m quite confused about how it works. I expected that when I send CV from a keyboard or sequencer, it would be quantised to the closest note within the selected scale in any octave, but it actually quantises voltage from the whole 0-5V range only to 7 notes. Being able to play only seven notes from the 5-octave range is a huge limitation and also makes it unplayable on my Keystep. It this a bug or a feature? Is there any workaround for that? Or did I misunderstood the concept of the module?
