Yeah, yeah...should be "sputnik", I know, but the spelling is that way on the page. Anyway, this looks potentially interesting due to the pinpoints, but the big question is whether it "speaks" AE or not through those.

Paul from errorinstruments is a wonderful guy and friend (and the Netherlands distributor for AE modular); I'm already poking him from time to time for adapting his modules to AE ;-) Cloudbusting, Acidbee and also this Sputnik would fit excellent into AE! He is open for that, but very busy with the already existing stuff - but I won't give up!

I'd love to see some of his stuff coming to AEM, cloudbusting is one of the modules I am looking forward to if I ever go eurorack. I'd like to try some of those experimental sound sources to feed a MI Rings. Guess that if MI and Error are on the list for potential future modules, it's one more reason I'll never have to step in the expensive eurorack world!

I loved the Error module I had in eurorack. Cloudbusting and Acidbee would be so nice!!!

apologies for reviving an old thread but has anyone picked up the "brickie" (desktop) version of Radio Sputnik? the description from Error Instruments on the Reverb sale page mentions "Compatible cv in en [sic] out 5v", but there's no mention of any specific voltage range on the Error Instruments website.

From my Error Instruments experience, I wouldn’t worry about their instruments CV input when connected to AE Modular. 0-5V should always work safely … which is just an assumption, but the Error stuff is so wild and usually also Eurorack compatible, that our little range here can’t really be a problem. Diode clipping circuits are cheap and easy too, so there must be some protection in there.
