The MM-DIV in binary mode into the 4ATTMIX makes a great little sequence generator, a little like one of my favourite Blacet modules, the Binary Zone. Has the added bonus that you can shift the MMDIV and make new melodies too... Fun!
(I need more mixers...)

Clever. I'll try that.

Its a trick I used to use with a matrix mixer: send it a ton of gates, mute out different channels on the matrix and take the sequence generated on each to wherever you please - on a 4x4 matrix you end up with four related sequences.
Theres no mix matrix in ae format yet though you can make similar out of chaining 4att mixers. You could also take out the inputs by switching them in and out of the mix on that module for variation. I could use at least another two of those 4atts, at least until I get some real sequencing in there... a quantiser would be handy too... More!
Edit: incidentally this set was built around the matrix mixer sequencer approach - there is an 8 step CV sequencer in this setup but the pitch sequencing here is handled by the matrix mixer.

I really need to explore this module more. You should do a little demo on youtube for us!

Hey that's alright, I'll mess with it myself and see if I can better understand what you describe. Maybe I'll do a video about it when I do

I bought a second MMDIV to pair with the 4att for a semi permanent sequencer patch up - I didn't quite have space for sequencer proper so it makes sense in the medium term... and I love the combination of mutable inputs on the 4att (turn them off) and the shift CV on the MMDIV - great for pattern generation/variation.

Hmmm might double check that tomorrow as have an idea!
