Hi there!
I am trying to slowly build up an AE setup a few modules at a time. My question is, does the master module come with the external power adapter? Because I know that is also sold in the store but I don't want to buy an extra one for no reason. In the same vein, does the master module come with the flying bus cable or will that have to be purchased separately as well?
Again, I don't mind if that is the case, just want to make sure I don't buy accessories already included with the module.
Thank you! Hope someone can help!

according to the shop, it does come with power supply, and it does not come with the bus ribbons (note: there are two types of bus ribbons - you need the straight (type 1) one for the one row case, and one of each ( 1 & 2) for the 2 row case) www.tangiblewaves.com/store/p4/MASTER.htmlp.s. you might also want to buy the midi breakout cable, if you plan to send midi into the AEM.

I had read that on the product page as well but I took that to mean the module itself contains the power supply for the system and the power adapter for the wall to be something different as it is sold separately in the accessories page.
Its no big deal, just a slight confusion. Thank you for replying

Hi foodawg, as mentioned in another thread, you may actually save a substantial amount by going for either the Rack1 or Rack2 system. If you add up all the individual modules and accessories, you will see that the Rack1 and Rack2 systems are heavily discounted.

I just realized there is a misleading e expression in the MASTER description; " contains the power supply" refers to the functionality in the sense that the module does the voltage regulation for the power supply; the wall adapter is NOT included. I will modify the description!

I will modify the description! oops, apologies to foodawg for misleading you.... I like most others here bought a complete system as its much more economic, so went purely on the description. btw: robertlanger perhaps in the complete system's description you detail the 'value' of all of the modules if bought separately, with case, with power supply, patch wires etc, so that potential users can see the 'saving' easily. I think many would be surprised how much cheaper they are. (of course, they are not for everyone, but the really are great value - and I think pretty much contain essential modules... i think beat divider/10 step are the only ones I dont use regularly, and thats likely down to how i do sequencing)

I will modify the description! This is what I thought it meant but just wanted to be sure. Thank you all so much for helping out! I do understand the savings that can be done by getting the complete systems, I'll consider it!
Thanks again, no matter my decision I feel confident this community will be supportive of any questions/ideas going further!
