Finally, I could get a longer ribbon cable so I could setup the case!!!
The battery, reverb tank, the expression pedal and other sensors fits into the pedalboard bag or the guitar gig bag.
I used an old bass string to keep the case from opening too much 🤪. Can stay patched and ready to go in no time! Now definitely needing way more red and green patch cables!

Wow, nice! Where did you get that case? Seems like it's the perfect size.
And what about the longer ribbon cable? You got it from Tangible Waves?

I got the case from a friend who used to work for Nokia. I have no clue what it was supposed to carry. There was couple of plexiglass dividers in it that I needed to remove. And for the ribbon I got it from my local electronic shop (was out of stock so needed to wait for it).

lukylutte cool! How did You mount the upper case? I'm considering similliar solution but haven't figured out the mounting yet as it would have to be easily removable for further modules additions. The racklink ribbon cable wasn't long enough?

I use double sided tape (idea from NightMachines case). I put it under the 4 pads on the sides so it wouldn’t be too difficult to remove it when the next modules will arrive. The case had hard foam on both sides. I cut it to be able to tape it onto the aluminum and so it fits really tight (in case the cheap tap gets loose it wouldn’t move around). I will upgrade with the 3D tape when I’ll be sure to not needed to add or move the modules for several weeks... The ribbon cable was wayyyy too short (it’s only around 5cm). I needed around 20cm.

lukylutte I have old AE cases so I have to use Racklink module to connect them - it has almost 50cm ribbon cable so it should be more than enough for similiar mounting

I use a stomp peddle board with some stiff foam cut out to sit my AEM into. The area around it is handy to store the power supply and the cute little light that fits into the USB module. The second upper rack fitted to the first one with the hinge kit, and then I use cupboard hinges to keep it upright, and this is surprisingly stable when twisting knobs and patching. The lid of the case is deep enough to accommodate the two racks folded together, but not enough to keep it patched. But to be honest, it doesn't travel far and the case is more for extra protection, although it is a handy travel case when I'm off to jam with other people. The magnifying glass is super handy and I also opted for some potentiometer caps - I love my AEM very much. I'm hoping the image has uploaded and you can see it.There are some more images and links to recordings I have made with this wonderful gear at the blackhairrolledindriedblood instagram page I'm really happy with this case and it is one of the cheap ones you can get on eBay for under £30.

I updated my case and I'm really pleased with it. I didn't realise Thomann do a custom service, so I got this 500mm x 420mm x 100mm case which is a lovely fit for two standard racks, and I can now leave the patch cables in place when I put the lid on. And here is 'Klaws' Schulze....
