Hi everybody! I'm a happy owner of an AE modular! I'm quite new in the synthesizers world so it isn't all clear for me. What I'm trying to do is to connect my walkman(made a tape loop) to the Master module. I can't get a sound.... I know it might be a silly question, but please help me! Thanks in advance, Beppe

Hi, Welcome to the AE family! Do it like this: Connect the Walkman via a minijack cable with one of the Audio/I/O sockets on the MASTER module, then you can take it from the corresponding socket and patch it within AE wherever you want (Filter, delay...). The minijack sockets operate as "adapter" from minijack to AE patchwires sockets. Hope this helps!

OK!
I assume you want to play the walkman and that sound should go through the filter or something and the walkman is connected to AUDIO2 on the Master module? Then you need to connect the AUDIO2 patch with the IN patch on a filter and the LP of the Filter back to AUDIO1 then connect AUDIO1 to an amplifier or audio interface.
Have you had a look at my very first introduction videos on how to setup audio?
Please watch these and also this one where I'm connecting a Volca Sample into the Audio input of the AE:
Hope this helps!

Remember also that the walkman outputs stereo, whereas the AE inputs are mono.
