New member Hambo has signed up today and pushed the count to 400! Woot!

robertlanger, NightMachines, thetechnobear and I started this forum in July 2018 because there was nothing on the web where people could exchange info on this new modular format and I'm so happy that it's not just kept going but is actually thriving.

While it's true that 80% of members are enjoying the forum quietly, there is a stable core of regulars that step in with advice all the time and a steady influx of new members with fresh ideas and new perspectives.

I've never started or cared for a forum before, so while I may not always have made the best decisions, I owe it all to you guys to be patient and supportive and generally an awesome bunch of artists, tinkerers and visionaries!

All of you make this forum such a great place to hang out, thank you all so much!

I'll definitely second that! However even with his genius Robert couldn't take this format to such an amazing level without you, the customers, the artists, the wacky tinkerers and fierce supporters over the last few years.

Sorry I've been a bit quiet lately, rather busy with various things, my AE modular was in a box for 3 months but it's out again now. :-)

This forum is also great because is it so positive, I've abandoned a lot of on-line synth forums in the past as it turns into this is crap/you can't make music without X piece of equipment and other complete twaddle. I don't like all the music on this forum, but it' great to hear what the little beastie can do and gets me to try things with mine.

For all newbies, a reminder about the Wiki, good progress has been made but will have to keep growing as the AE Modular does. I'm personally looking forward to seeing the DIY section with the new modules Robert has announced, I might get tempted to try soldering again!

Sorry, I moved all announcements up a level into its own sub forum to keep things more organised.

The Wishlist and Your Story are still under the AE Modular Talk sub board.
