Hello. I’m having an issue clocking my topograph. I’ve tried a few different methods. Including lfo and external clock. What seems to be happening is no matter what clock signal I send. It’s only running at around a quarter of the speed. I also changed the topograph so the acc2 was sending clock back out. Patches it to the seq16 and the seq 16 was running the same speed as original clock signal. But the topograph is still running slow. Any ideas what the issue could be. Also it’s not the clock resolution as I have it in 24 per beat

There is a configuration possibility for the clock resolution; in the Mutable Instruments documentation it is explained. I hope this helps!

Hi otakumike, you can change the clock resolution on the Topograph like this: 1. unplug all CV and hold the TAP (RESET) button for a second to put the Topograph into advanced settings mode 2. the FILL1 knob changes the clock resolution which you can as a pattern on the 3 LEDs 3. 4ppqn = first LED is on 4. 8ppqn = second LED is on 5. 24ppqn = third LED is on 6. Turn the FILL1 knob to select the resolution you want 7. Hold the TAP (RESET) button again for a second to save the settings You can experiment with 4 or 8 ppqn, but 24 ppqn is usually only useful if you wan to clock the TOPOGRAPH directly from the MIDI bus. I've made a video about all the advanced settings:

Documentation is gradually appearing via the Wiki for what can be complex interfaces (this is a prime example), but seeing someone push the buttons and actually talk to you is invaluable. I've said it before so I'll only reprise in brief: whilst I do enjoy exploration I like some of the map to be available so that my exploration can be more "musical" rather than simply "functional". All of us, at all levels, and with many reasons for coming to the AE Modular, will gain something from watching admin wield his magic pencil (quite a nice one in this video). Thanks again
