My midi cable doesn't work but I don't know what type it is. What are the pinouts for the TRS midi input on the Power Module?

Tip =
Or what type of Midi TRS is need? Type A or Type B?

So the Arturia Keystep is MIDI Type B?
I spent days trying to connect mine to my AE Modular setup using four different MIDI/TRS connectors with no joy, until I connected a 'posh' MIDI to TRS I got with my Pittsburgh Modular, and that one works perfectly - I'm only guessing this was a different type to the others. Very frustrating as I never use MIDI, although I will now it works.
The issue is that it seems that when you go out to buy a MIDI cable/TRS adaptor, there is no mention of it being Type A or Type B. Was this my problem, or am I missing something really obvious?
