last week I finally got my system and I’ve been enjoying it very much. The only thing which really annoyed me were these plastic buttons which I find too noisy, hard to push and too high. On most of the modules you don’t need to use them a lot and it’s all fine but it really bothered me on the TRIQ164 module as I use the buttons there very often. I was dreaming of something similar to the buttons on Knit Rider module from Bastl Instruments.
Therefore I searched for lower buttons which require less force to push and found these: B3F-1070. They are exactly the same like the originals, just lower and softer. I replaced them (I had to use 1 mm thick plastic stripe to underlay them so they have perfect height) and it’s great. They are very silent, soft (easy to push) and you can even slide your finger over them to fill the sequence (as you would i.e. on Volca Sample).
If anyone doesn’t find the original buttons comfortable enough I highly recommend these. I’m also attaching some images. You can see there the plastic stripe, which I actually cut from plastic paper binder. :-)
