The NYLE FILTER is an adaption of the Steiner Filter for the AE modular palette. It contains the classic filter curves lowpass/highpass/bandpass with adjustable filter frequency and resonance. Please post any questions you may have about this module in this thread. Now being updated... should be interesting. Oh! Good catch! Wonder what’s being updated. For me it worked without any issues so far.

I will try to optimize the resonance which kicks in quite aggressive at a certain point, probably with with a "soft/hard" switch. Before producing a new batch of boards I wanted to check out this.

Wow... How many things can you do in your time? It's really amazing that you think about things like this while putting new modules out and doing all the other stuff.

Different "aggressiveness" settings? Probably not a bad idea, really. My (very fond) memories of my Steiner-Parker Synthacon definitely include the "in your face" behavior of the VCF, and while that was useful for some applications, well, not so much so when it came to the subtlety department. Nyle did design one helluva VCF, though; the Synthacon in full-on "blow s**t up" mode would screech and yowl like a banshee!

I was usualy attenuating the signal sent into cv resonance input and with some knobs action it ended with pretty much control achieved over it's behaviour, but the more control options the better.

I finally managed to finish this tutorial video about the NYLE filter. This was my third attempt! It's a quirky module, but can be quite wonderful, gritty, bubbly and heavenly smooth.

Thanks, that was a fun video, admin . I kept wondering if you'd do something and you always did, good stuff. You even went to the HPF, the most ignored of the filters Together with the oscillators, the filters are the heart of the sound (IMO, of course) and I have been able to do a lot with the ones that robertlanger has given us.
