Hi all,
Have some general questions about the two mix modules. I currently have the 2rack starter kit and am ready to purchase a second case (!!!). I would like to add another mixer module and trying to understand the differences btw the capabilities of the 4ATTMIX and ‘standard’ Mixer 4.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

That is a great question! Looking at the 4ATT/MIX you get two modules in one with the combination of a mixer and switchable attenuator. And for those tasks it's a really great deal. However the MIXER4-4 has two mixing channels, the A channel has all inputs attenuated by the knobs and the B channel is a simple mix with no attenuation. I often use the B channel of the MIXER4-4 to sum two or more oscillators together to get a bigger sound and then I route the B out into one of the A inputs and still have 3 channels for other things. So my answer is: you will need one of each, but if you would get a third one, I'd recommend get a second 4ATT/MIX.

Let me jump into the conversation with one question regarding one of mentioned modules. admin would MIXER 4-4 be the right tool to mix not only the audio signals from osc but waves (from lfo) or triggers also?

For triggers you should be using the OR or LOGIC modules. For DC signals I don't know how well the Mixer 4 would work because there is no audio/dc switch like the 4ATT/MIX.

Wonderful thanks, also for the B channel tip of the Mixer 4-4. 4ATTMIX is in the cart...
