Hi all! I recently bought a few new modules for my AE modular and one of the modules was a multimode divider, which is a new module i believe. Does anyone else have this? I'm aware that it takes the input signal i.e and LFO and divides the CV, but the modes are a little difficult to follow. Incidentally, this module came instead of the normal divider that was previously released. Perhaps the wrong one was sent out in which case I'll have to contact Robert. Any help regarding the use of this module would be appreciated

Hi @nightowl96, the new Multimode Divider replaces the old one, which will be discontinued. You can put in the pulse out from an LFO, the clock from the bus, the divided clock from the Beat Divider, the trigger from the Triq164 and even audio signals directly from an oscillator!
The mode button lets you choose between different time divisions and counting modes. The first mode “Beats” works exactly like the original divider. Just play around with the other modes to get a feel for them. It’s easier to understand if you use it to trigger drums or short percussion like sounds, but I also really enjoyed putting in an OSC because then each output acts like a different sub-oscillator.
Really cool is the shift knob which lets you rotate the pattern as you go and you can even automate it with an LFO... together with an audio input you could get some dramatic drones.

One addition: The previous Divider was a binary type, which is the SECOND option on the new one. BEAT offers the usual 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16... clocks in musical/rhythmical terms.
