Hi all. I am new to AE Modular, and to the analogue world in general. For the past few months I’ve been using software modular synths which are obviously very stable. So I have a general question about analogue, and also specifically the sample and hold module.
I’ve noticed when I trigger the s&h it will lock the value, but then slowly drift down, like it’s losing it’s original energy. Is this something to be expected in the analogue world? Maybe I’m using it wrong? I can provide a video later today if needed, just let me know!
Thanks!

Yes it is totally normal for an analog S&H to behave like that.

Yes it is totally normal for an analog S&H to behave like that. Yep...what you're hearing is typical cap leakage in the voltage latch. Pretty much unavoidable in a purely analog environment. Most anything that uses an analog voltage latching circuit will do this to some degree or another.
