Noise in and as Music
Those books are kind of in tune with the ideas of "attentive listening" and "music as a holistic experience". I first was made aware of this stuff during my interview with Ezra Buchla who recounted his youth where he spent hours listening to performances of Morton Feldman, Eliana Radigue, John Cage and others.
