Hey guys, I gotta tell you two things: 1) the format is genius, its the only affordable synth that can (esp eventually) do anything I want to do and sound huge and bring the "100k$ or who knows" walls-of-gear setup I saw at UCLA in the 70's...into a backpack...I love it. Gonna get one. Must. Have. 2) ...but while a lot of EuroRack modules are just nuuuuuttttty expensive and what not, there's some few that are magical all by themselves, and one must ask... ...how does the Eurorack interconnect experience really go? I can't find videos etc....just nothing...well this is cool: This YouTube videoThanks in advance. Greg p.s. Be well Robert....ask for more help! I bet you'd have a lot of it if you asked! p.p.s. I have a module list in mind to give me a couple specific abilities...one of them is "25% of what that Erica Synths Techno setup can do" and I'm inspired to make a sequencer module to make it work!

Hi los, welcome to the forum! Connecting to Eurorack (or any other synth) is really easy either from the Master module or using the 4I/O Module. Those modules make it "safe" to connect the "hot" signal of Eurorack back into the AE Modular. But you have to be aware that since Eurorack is -12V to +12V it will all be cut off between 0-5V for the AE. Going out from AE to Eurorack is the same with those modules, however you want to look at a signal gain on the Eurorack side to amp up the signal from AE. I've made this video which shows how to connect things to the AE system: And in this video you can see that I've interconnected my very sad and incomplete Eurorack with the AE: Any module ideas you have are very welcome, please post them on this mega thread: forum.aemodular.com/thread/8/future-module-listIf you're into DIY then this is a good place to start: forum.aemodular.com/board/8/diy-building

Erica techno is really cool. I watched a lot of videos about it. And also about the distortion with the plasma lightning. Could watch that alone all day.

Another alternative, which I'm planning to use, is Soundmachines' Nanobridge. 14 I/O from pin to 3.5mm (and vice versa), and when connected to GND and 5V, it will also constrain CVs to the proper AE levels. Not quite the right thing for audio, though; for that, I'll use the 4I/O I've specced for the system's audio inputs. Mounts nicely on some risers to a 4sp blank, too!
