Have any of you guys used guitar pedals with AEM yet? I was using my avalanche and CT5 pedals while using the minilogue sequencer through MIDI last night and I got some great sounds. Attachments:

I'm generally a big fan of the EHX "Superego Synth Engine" Freeze/Reverb. I bought mine secondhand and modded, so that you can control the footswitch with a gate signal. Here's how to mod it:  (not my picture) |

Here's how to mod it: (not my picture) Man that really makes me want to get into modding pedals. I've done some circuit bending with a friend on keyboards and pedals before just by soldering random connections on boards. But the logic circuit diagrams seem to always fly over my head. |

Man that really makes me want to get into modding pedals. Yeah, the gate mod for a foot switch like on the SuperEgo seems very easy. I've done some glitchy video bending in the past, similar to what you describe - i.e. just solder switches to the PCBs to create controlled short circuits. It was super fun and rewarding. |
