I have added RESPITE to my GRAINS repository. Respite fixes a bug in 2ENV. 2ENV cannot respond to a drop in gate followed by a rapid gate raise. This happens a lot with MIDI signals from grooveboxes and trackers: often they play a note for 1/16 of a beat, then send a NOTE OFF to drop it and immediately send a NOTE ON to play the next note, and this results in a fast gate drop / rise combo, which 2ENV ignores.
RESPITE responds to these combos by slightly delaying the gate rise time so 2ENV sees it. You can customize the length of delay, and RESPITE can handle two digital signals of this kind at once.
