Hello,
I have just received the samplyr module.
When I turn on the module it displays "sd init failed" then "sd card error".
After browsing the forum, I reformatted the card as indicated, under linux, under windows, with the demo files, with my own sound files, I tested another sd card, but nothing works.
Has anyone had this problem? Is the module broken?

Hi,
I have encountered this with a suspicious SD card; although it looked fine on the computer, it wasn't recognized in the SAMPLYR module.
Did you try it with another micro SD card? Or only the included one?
We will get it fixed!

I bought a 16GB sdhc card, which I formatted in fat32. I copied and pasted the files, but the error message is still the same.

I have run many tests without success.
Is it possible that the firmware is corrupted?
And if so, how can I reinstall it?

how big is your case or cases?
The reason being is I get the same message in the samplyr when I power all my connected cases at the same time using a power cable with inline switch and multi splitter cables and to fix this I have to do the following:
Unplug all of the cases,
turn the power switch to on
then insert the power cables back into each case starting with the case that has the Samplyr module but don't plug the second cable in until you see the Samplyr has booted correctly
I have a pure speculation theory that the Samplyr struggles to boot the card properly if it doesn't get a big power hit or is sitting after power hungry modules like Rains and cirrus but I have been too lazy to test this yet.

thanks for the tip,
I have a 2-row 16x2 filled square.
To be sure, I unplugged everything to leave only the master and the samplyr module. Same problem.
I also tested with another power supply, same thing.
