For those of who have haven't seen this, here is Ian Boddy playing a modular setup in a record shop in the NE of England this weekend (18/05/19). Enjoy a master at work. His new 2CD "Altair" is a great album, you can find it (and hear it) here.

If you're wondering what Ian is playing, here's an explanation: The Ondes Martenot was one of the earliest 20th-century electronic musical instruments, and found favour with composers of avant-garde orchestral works for many years. Now, thanks to Cornish company Analogue Systems, it's getting a new lease of life...You can read more here. And here's a close-up of it in action. Edit: Oh yes, and you all knew that the other weird thing was a Folktek Resonant Garden (played with a bow), didn't you...?

I loved the second one. This ringy, stringy thing looks like a heel of the fun playing with.
