Hello everyone!
I’m experiencing some issues with the B. Clock out of the Master Module. I am using a Keystep 37 as my master clock and I’m also sequencing my baselines via MIDI. I always add sequences to my music using two SEQ16 and it has always worked but now that I can’t seem to get the sequencers to run. The ways it’s worked for me is as follows: I send the MASTER MODULE B. CLOCK to the MIDICLOCK DIVIDER to the clock input on the SEQ16.
If I slightly touch the clock input with the patch cable it tries to receive the signal (LEDs start blinking to the sequence of the baseline and tempo) but it dies once I plug it all the way in.
Any advice or solutions will be extremely appreciated, cheers!

Hi,
1. have you tried with a different cable? Sometimes a patch cable can be broken slightly.
2. you don't need to patch a cable from the MASTER module to the MIDICLOCK DIVIDER .. you can just patch from BUS CLK on the MIDICLOCK DIVIDER module to its CLK input with a short cable.

This looks like a faulty cable to me. As admin said, you can just plug the B clk of the divider module into the clk input, works a charm with one of the little yellow cables.

Thank you both for your responses. I was trying several options, I have plenty of different patch cables, also bus cables and cases, for a minute it started working after trying many combinations but as I started screwing the modules on to the case, it stopped working when I tried again.
It's quite frustrating, I can see it works when I slightly touch it with the cable but once it goes all the way in, it just dies. If I try the B. GATE output from the Master Module it works perfectly. I wish I understood exactly what is the issue I am experiencing.
** The clock input also works perfectly if I send the signal from an LFO but I do want the clock from the Keystep to work.

So the b clock is the sending out the midi clock signal you recieve via the midi in of the master module. You are connecting the midi out of your key step to the midi in of the Master moduel right?

You are connecting the midi out of your key step to the midi in of the Master moduel right? Yes that’s how I’ve done it for several years.

And the midi signals arrive correctly in the master module? Did anything change in your system since you patched b clock successfully?

Yes, the MIDI signal gets correctly to the Master Module. Nothing changed really, I was trying different patch cables and bus cables and it worked for a few minutes then it never worked again. Technically, everything works perfect with my system except this one thing.

UPDATE:
Hello everyone, I fixed the problem. This might sound quite naïve from me but one of my bus cables was upside down, so the connection was not sending the pulse from the clock (always make sure that the red stripe of your bus cable is on the top).
This this can be useful for future reference for everybody. Thanks for the kind users that tried to help!
Cheers!

I've had this type of thing often enough as well. Good thing you found out!
