Here is my call to read those fabulous manual pages on the wiki, you might learn a thing or two about those pesky modules on which you spend you hard-earned cash. Even after owning your modular for a longer period you could run into one of those aha lightbulb moments. It turns out I was using my SOLINA module in a complete backwards way since I did not really understand how it works and did not bother to delve through all of the info available, the produced results were meh to my ears and SOLINA turned out to be one of my least used modules. And today after all those months of owning a SOLINA I (re)read the wiki page re-watched the instructional video of NightMachines and all the pieces fell together. SOLINA has finally found its place in my patches. Yay.

I'm somewhere in the middle.
I like starting out without the manual. Sparks my enthousiasm and creativity, it gets my brain in a 'hype' and 'discovery' stage. Then after my first time with any music gear (not just modules), i like to devour manuals, video's, wiki's,.. to get 'deeper'.
By now i learned that I don't gel too well with supercomplicated gear. Mainly the ones that need a reference sheet for menu's, tricks,.. Like the Digitakt is complex, but there is no need to remember anything, it's all there on the printed labels and screen. I'm talking about modules like Cirrus, these seem to be less my cup of tea. Love the sounds, but just can't Bring myself to memorize Alternate firmwares or use reference sheets.
To each it's own!
But the wiki has def Hidden treasures (the 'random' mode of the Modulators module blew my minds after reading the wiki!)
