This is really nice and I wonder how you combine this with Audulus? Is this Audulus on the iPad or on the Mac? And are you using it as a sound processor or as a second synth voice? I would love to know more about how you set this up.
I have Audulus 2 on my iPad, but every time I open it up I'm confused with all the complexity of this thing.
I was similarly befuddled by Audulus when I first got it. I couldn’t figure out how to get it to do anything, and knowing that it would take at least a few hours of YouTube videos before I “got it,” I put it on the back burner and didn’t use it for about a year. But more recently, I did put in some time and once you get around a couple of confusing things it’s actually a very fun and great sounding synth, IMO.
Currently, I use Audulus in tandem with Cubasis. I create a few bars of quarter notes in Cubasis, copy/paste so it goes on for 10 minutes, and send that to Audulus, which uses the gate from Cubasis as a central clock. Cubasis is also sending start/stop and midi clock to my Analog Keys, which has a dedicated cv sequencer channel and is controlling the AE. Most of he sounds you hear are Audulus, but in a few key moments the Æ takes the lead. I’m mostly playing it by hand.
Right now my AE system is pretty modest, just a simple synth voice really but the rest of the first rack is on the way!!!!
