I'm planning to get into AE Modular. I'm going to use the power module instead of master module as i don't need midi capability. Thing is, power module takes one slot and not two like master module. I was looking at 2x12 case for starting out. There is a plate on the left part of the case that has power pins on it, as i understand the ribbon cable goes to the right of the plate, left side of the plate has one connector which i assume is for master module to connect, master module would use up the the slot space on the left of the plate easily, but power module would leave one slot empty....which begs the question, is the only viable option be to put blank plate there or could i still put an one slot module there somehow?
