Hi
I've received this week the MODULATORS module. I've noticed that when the switch of the envelope section is set to trigger mode, if I set the attack above 8'clock, the envelope is not triggered.
In Gate mode, works as expected.
Have you experienced this behaviour?

I haven't specifically noticed that on my one. I'm guessing that the with an attack on a trigger it doesn't have enough time to trigger but in gate mode it opens up for longer so my thinking is working as normal?

A trigger should trigger an envelope in trigger mode no matter how long the set attack time, at least that's how I think about an envelope, gate mode is different.

comparing the modulator Env trigger against the 2Env does indeed give different results when moving the attack past the 8 0'clock setting whether manually triggering (pressing the button) or via a patched gate input
the 2Env does trigger regardless of the attack setting but the Modulator doesn't

Thank you for checking it! Despite this, I think the module is great for small setups.

yes, I agree and also as a backup env/lfo etc.

Indeed, the envelope in the MODULATORS module behaves a bitt different than the 2ENV; it's a more simplified circuit (no microcontroller, no CV control for attack/decay), and therefore, it behaves as described.
