Inspired by he ChatGPT thread, let’s create some modular synth art. For example with DALL-E 2, where you get 50 credits for free when signing up and 15 new credits per month afterwards: labs.openai.com/Always post the AI’s name and your instruction text for the images please.DALL-E 2: “A dark oil painting of a gray modular synthesizer with many bright red cables, sitting on a wooden desk under a cold light”  I like it, but I somehow cannot make it generate a more AE Modular looking synth somehow. |

DALL-E 2: “a photorealistic 3d render of a yellow cat-shaped modular synthesizer surrounded by candles with lens flares in a dark space”  It seems to have problems with the modular part of “modular synthesizer” sometimes and it lacks the imagination to make it cat-shaped, but nevertheless, I like this image. |

AI is so much fun but yes Modular synth is a tricky one Here's one I just did now on Midjourney regarding trying to get a modular synth. "Modular circuitry music synthesizer with wires patch cables no keyboard"  and because we are talking cats here's a couple I liked with text entered around the topic Synth Tics and Scratching an itch   |

AI is so much fun but yes Modular synth is a tricky one Here's one I just did now on Midjourney regarding trying to get a modular synth. "Modular circuitry music synthesizer with wires patch cables no keyboard" View Attachmentand because we are talking cats here's a couple I liked with text entered around the topic Synth Tics and Scratching an itch View AttachmentView Attachment Good idea to add “no keyboard” to the prompt! That photorealistic gremlin with the out-of-focus synth behind it looks super creepy. Like with many of those AI pictures, my mind totally accepts what it sees even though, on closer look, it’s just a collage of shapes and weirdly assembled patterns. Fascinating! |
