Having had a landmark birthday just before Christmas, it occured to me thast younger members of the forum may not be aware of TD, so thought I'd put links to Youtube videos of some of my all time favourite pieces of music on here. If you don't like one please try the next as I've deliberately picked a varied selection. I may put more on later if this thread is well recieved. I would be amazed if you didn't like at least one piece as their output varies so much - should do for a 50 year career! (And on-going if you accept the current incarnation). I struggled to keep it down to this quantity.....
Honourable mentiones go to longer tracks I decided not to include, like Tangram, Livemiles, Force Majeur, Love on a Real Train, Phaedra etc etc.... If you like the more rhythmic stuff, the Dream Mixes are highly recomended. The very early is more experimental, the early /mid years do some very melodic &/or rhythmic longer pieces and it evolves through the late 70s through to the early 2000s to shorter pieces as a rule. They've chopped and changed more since then, almost album by album, from "sonic poems" to almost dance music and everything inbetween.

This is my absolute and all time favourite and I couldn't imagine life without it: TD Poland I agree, great album; I remember the shiver down my spine when I cranked it up for the first play, (in the common room at college), and the announcers voice started, then the first notes.... A lot of their live albums are excellent, especially the 1970s and 80s.

I still get those same shivers exactly on those first notes even after having listened to it over a hundred times over the last 35 years!
