I decide to post my first track of the year here since it did not involve the AE modular, traveling is easier with the polyend tracker than the AE modular. I used some AE samples to generate a wavetable synth voice though.

 Well I was a bit worried when uploaded the track since the algorithms of soundcloud are really precise in detecting sampled vocals but I managed to mangle the vocals enough to make them unrecognizable for soundcloud. So no it is not me singing, but I liked the way it almost starts to sound like a garage track sung by some androgynous stalker.

but I think I'll have to rework it a bit since the bass line is a bit too prominent compared to the drums and 'my' vocals.

seems your irony detectors are working perfectly honestly though, I would have been impressed if they were yours as I really am a fan of that unusual underground vocal type, and it does work well with this track. The bassline sounds like it was meant to be a bit more prominent. |
