Hello, I tried searching for a previous thread on this but I couldn't find anything!
When the volume passes the -10db threshold on my Mixconsole module (e.g. a green led lights up) there is a small popping sound, the sound stops so long as the volume stays above -10db, however as soon as the the volume drops back below -10db (e.g. all leds off) there is a popping sound again. This popping sound happens only when crossing the threshold of -10db, or it becomes continuous when sitting right on the edge of -10db.
Has anybody experienced this? My current fix is to make sure the volume is always below -10db on the AE Mixconsole, and then increasing gain via my audio interface. This is okay but sometimes it creeps up during performances and creates the popping!
