I think it's funny that people still feel the need to judge what other people spend their money on, if you have a 15000 dollar modular synth then kudos to you. I couldn't care less that you only make bleeps and bloops with it or sustained fart sounds, it's your modular not mine. He then boldly claims he can make make 'better' sounding stuff on an ipad app for $9.99? well first of all that stuff he showcased sounded cheesy AF , but that is my opinion and I won't make a ranty video about it . As the late Zappa would say talking about music is like dancing about architecture.

How can you judge some music more musical than other music? It's not like music is a set of rules you must follow, there are no laws against dissonance or cheesy pop music.

I sense a lot of bitterness in the poor soul's video. The only thing I can blame these loopops, bobeats, or whatever Andrew Huang types for is their all too obvious promo-whoring for the instrument builders. The "no money changed hands and they have no say in this video..." is just the biggest bullshit possible. Do they really want me to believe that they would be sent another piece of free gear if they slaughtered a freebee piece of kit on their channel.

If some instrument builder were to send me a free piece of kit then I would definitely praise that stuff like there's no tomorrow. I would perhaps not use it anymore afterwards but that's another choice. You don't bite the hand that feeds you, unless you're seriously mentally challenged.
