Okay, so we have a bunch of sequencers now, ranging from long and controllable (SEQ16), shorter and controllable (SEQ8), to random (RBSS) and just triggers and all kinds of stuff. We also have a bunch of different modules for splitting up clocks in interesting ways (MM-Divider, Heartbeat, and so on). Want to do interesting things that aren't just a batch of 16th notes? Here are some things I've done that come out interestingly.
1. Clock multiple sequencers differently. Send a SEQ8 whole notes and you have 8 bars of a held CV-- drone, bassline, whatever. Now put a SEQ16 clocked with 8th notes over it and you have 2 bars to play over that.
There are lots of other potential ways to patch, but if anyone else has been trying to get longer sequences going or trying to do more rhythmically interesting stuff than just 16th notes, maybe this will help.
Anyone else have other ideas?

2. Clock sequencers with random other stuff-- use a track from the TRIQ164 to clock a SEQ8 and you get a more rhythmically interesting measure of sequenced notes. Bonus points for NOT hitting 8 triggers each time so it loops in a less predictable way.
3. Ignore the trigger out of the sequencer-- use it to send CVs to a voice and then use something else to trigger that voice's envelope. I like using a SEQ8 clocked with half notes to provide the CV for a voice, and then trigger its envelope with a TRIQ164 (clocked with 16th notes). Now I have 4 bars with 2 tones in each measure playing rhythmic 16th notes.
4. Use different lengths of something like Kyaa's Euclid Grid to trigger things NOT in multiples of 4 or 8! Hold a voice's CV using a slow-clocked SEQ8 and then ping its envelope in polyrhythmic loops from the Euclid Grid. Repeating every 12 16th notes gives you a rotating rhythm. Odd numbers do other interesting things.
