Discovered this site recently called midjourney which is an AI discord server that generates art just by typing in a description of what you would like to create. It's pretty cool if you would like to generate album art. www.midjourney.com/home/#aboutThere is a free version which gives you something like 30 pics as I understand it and also a paid version. The free version you join the discord and type in "/imagine" and then a prompt like "dark Aemodular bleepy bloops" which gave me these 4 versions after 60 seconds You can basically type in anything you want Of course there is also taking photos/screenshots yourself and manipulating them in gimp or you can try midjourney

That is pretty wild. Soon we can sell all of our gear and let AI create everything .

pt3r future kids will be saying "look at those old people making music the hard way" as they plug themselves into the wall to recharge. pol I can imagine there would be a fuss. Kind of the same fuss when they got that elephant to paint as good as them

I've used Craiyon to make a few song cover arts. I think the prompt for this one was something like "a crow monk playing a synthesizer, cubist style": And I think the one before that was "medical diagram of the skeleton of a hard drive." Craiyon is much less refined than Midjourney but it sure makes good weird little icons.

That was a very interesting track to say the least, you got yourself a new follower. I guess its not (completely) (AE) modular?

Yeah, that one's not AE at all, but I've put my AE stuff back together and I'm doing something for the next compilation. Oh, and I named it by picking up the book closest to hand and opening it at random. That book was one of Tamsyn Muir's Locked Tomb books, so there was about a 90% chance I've have found something to do with skeletons or bones no matter where I'd opened it.

I've seen some people putting out actual 100's of images a day through various Facebook groups. It can get a bit too much, but I guess they've paid for it so they're using it.
I did manage to generate a lot of album-worthy art before I used up my freebies, though. There's also a completely free AI image generator from Google (Disco Diffusion) that's worth using. It's a bit of a faff to set up, but it does work. Apologies if it's been mentioned already, here's a useful link on how to use it: How to use Disco Diffusion
This was one of my favourite outputs from Midjourney - it's one of the least abstract - they're the Soviet Space Dogs Belka and Strelka, btw

I recognise those dogs! great thanks spacedog will check out the DiscoDiff might be a better option as the midjourney subscription (10buck minimum) might be ok if using it often enough but........
