This is how I started making my first electronic music on an MSDOS computer running fasttracker II and a Gravis Ultrasound soundcard that we extended the memory to a whopping 1 megabyte. by using chips out of an old vga card.

My first "electronic" music was a small organ which had a fan in it, to blow air through the little (plastic) pipes, only a 3 octave keyboard and almost a kids toy - I'd really like to sample it now...  |
