Try to build a patch that generates triggers and or gates as random as possible without resorting to the usual suspects, so no Noise module. Show us your creativity.

This is what the patch looks like and this is what it sounds like
So the random triggers are all credit of a looping ENV whose attack and decay are constantly modulated by two other looping ENV.

This is my attempt.
Random trigger is created by FMOS out into Dronx with a bit of delay CV1 and 2 controlled by seperately by Sloth then into multifx Glitch delay then into Gate1 of 2Env
It seems to be random
FMOS is also the sound source which goes out from second out of FMOS straight into the vca (controlled by above gate) then to mixer

Using audio as a gate signal will of course work, I simply never thought about patching it that way. Interesting. I guess I'm still quite traditional in the patching of my signals. The thing I learned from my own patch was that the idea of building a patch that solely consists of 2ENV and 2VCA modules is actually very possible and can produce music/sound. There is another idea for a patch challenge.

I looked at your idea and thought ok how can I do the complete opposite of that. was a bit puzzled for a bit trying to make it work randomly.

your idea makes me think would be cool to patch a whole row of 2Env and 2vcas to feed off each other in a fast techno type track

I must also give a little shoutout to the SOLINA module, it's been a while since I used it in a patch and it really surprised me again it its lushness and yes it plays very well with the PHASER.

I've been meaning to record this for over a week now, and finally got around to it.
It is not strictly random but, like most computers' random, is too complicated to work out! The base is the Euclid Grid module where I use 3 sequences with different lengths (so they also have different triggers); two feed into the logic module and the out triggers the "bass" sound. One sequence is reused (so they are on the same timing) and the 3rd are put into the 3VCSwitch module, the out triggering the snare drum in the Drumkit010 module through the lo-fi delay. A picture of the overall patch is on the soundcloud page, but a close up of the the sequence routing is included here.

Cool patch. Is it only me who has audio in the left channel?
