Hi guys an girlzzzzzz. I am very new to the herd. My first modular 12x2 is just coming this month. While I was here on the forum, trying to learn the inside out of everything possible, I noticed there is not a single thread for sharing pics of your Modular ensemble. Given I haven't yet learnt how to use the url to upload pictures, once my Modular arrives, I would start the thread with my pic. So. I was saying. I was looking for other people modular stories to learn something, would be cool to see what other members approach their AE dream! Can you post yours???

When you reply to a thread, on the top right you have "add attachment" - that works well for photos,
The file size is limited to 3MB which is small for pictures these days.....
This is my system about New Year, I've bought a few more modules since then.....

I also immediately spotted the DYI board. This looks very interesting. I would be glad if you could share you experience with the board with us: how it works, how it is programmed, how it sounds, etc

The sound it's exactly like the video..the last owner make it; and didn't explain to me, how it function this. I read that attiny85 it's programming with arduino..and decided to experiment with cheap attiny usb board..but this chip run a bootloader that ocupy space to the code..I delete one or two lines of code (deleting some sounds) and works! IT's a chip directly on 5v and ground..with a resistence to the trigger input. The original attiny85 chip (upper) it's more flexible..I can select the sounds with CV..but I'm still experimenting with the last one usb chip..

My AE modular arrived early this week, tonight I had the first chance to assemble everything and start testing... The MM-DIV stopped working... I'm trying to reset the unit... at first it was working, with the LFO from MODULATORS... the three sound modules are Wonky Core, Kastle and Kastle Drum. I could have sent a Kastle out back to the MM DIV out inadvertly and tripped the MM Div... Divider aside, I WANT TO THANK YOU DEAR TANGIBLE WAVES TEAM, for the beauty of it all!! I'll probably hit you for some debugging help for the divider!!! THANK YOU!!! J.

No gorgeous backlighting or posh cases, but a more current photo of my AE system, enjoying the agony of deciding what the last few modules will be - got 3 uModules & base, and Rains on order...
I have some modules from Kickstarter days which have been updated &/or replaced; I may well start swapping them out to gain more functionality once the case is full; for example I have a single LFO in a full size module. Once the case is full, once the case is full, once the.....
The 1x16 case at the bottom is my "percussion" synth; some tweaks soon and it will be complete, it has a power module so that it can go for walkies away from the rest of my AE, which never goes anywhere! I was going to stop at 4x20 but hated the empty case just sitting there. The racklink remains as it is useful for patching and provides a common ground for the 2 racks, I believe if the same PSU is used and a Y splitter for the power connections that isn't a concern but this works fine for me.
Just for info, it is all powered from my original TW power supply, but I don't have any of the known "hungry" modules.

Hello! It's been a couple of weeks since I received my AE rack and I've been woefully ill equipped to resist the temptations of immediately adding to it Having swapped a few modules around and added things here and there I thought I would add to this thread! Haven't had much chance to play with it yet but I'm really happy I was able to get a BioT (Thanks to tIB !) The Kaestle Drum I've had for the best part of a week and have been thoroughly enjoying. Also got to try out the Spring Reverb this weekend as my spring tank arrived late last week too. Needless to say it was a weekend full of Bleep Bloop! All in all I really am delighted with this system!
