I just love the sound and idea of a Theremin even though I haven't yet committed to buying one.
This video is such a great explanation of how a Theremin works, really nicely done.

Brilliant video! Good intro to a number of basic electronic principles as well as the theremin in particular. Using a C64 is so smart, and the volume antenna is a spoon
I got a Lostvolts theremin as a gift a little while back, it is brilliant fun but not an easy instrument to get the hang of!

That was a really interesting video, that distance measuring with the 555 chip is pretty genius. Makes you wonder how difficult it would be to make a theremin antenna for the AE modular that simply sends out cv voltages?
