If you read the last Tangible Waves/Carsten blog, you will know there are 2 spreadsheets I created comparing the AE Filter and mixer modules respectively. These are now available in the Wiki:-
They can be accessed from the list of modules page as well:-
As this page is getting so long admin & I are discussing what we can do to make it easier for new users - it's fine if you know the name of the module, and the manufacturer if not AE but not so helpful if you don't.... Any suggestions will be considered.
Also, are there any other comparison charts that might be useful?
I'm considering a CV/trig manipulation one (i.e the module we use to muck things up a bit, or control other modules)
I'm also pondering a page in the Wiki to list other gear that is compatible with the AE, e.g. CV/gates of 0-5V; would this be a useful idea?
If you feel an idea is too daft to post publicly, feel free to pm me.....

Thanks for these sheets, very useful to have all the essential differences in one clean overview, I'm currently considering to buy a mixing module so this comes at the reight time.

It is getting to be quite a long list, maybe it should be structured in sections like the TW shop is, so all the audio generating modules together, all the utilities, effects, a section just for third-party manufacturers etc... Although i think the long list should still stick around as well for people who know what they're looking for and just want to skip straight to it

It's actually why I did the original mixer spreadsheet, as that was likely to be my next module purchase. Happily, not long after I decided on the Mixconsole Juno reduced them. They still are reduced but not sure where you stand with shipping to Belgium;

Sections is an option, although modules that fall into more than one catergory will need to be in both (unlike Tangible Waves site sometimes!), one option is to do the same as the TW site regardless... I like the idea of all the 3rd party modules on their own list but may need more info as the names are not always clear on what they actually are! One section would also be discontinued modules as there is getting to be quite a few now.
Thanks for your input.

Maybe an idea to help new users is a 'summery' word from the list you have underneath in another column or as the link click due to space. for example self resonating, grungy, characterful etc

I'll have a look at it.....
Thanks Pol.
