Hi everyone, had my AE modular, since the end of January, and really enjoying it. I have a few question in which I hope some of you can answer.
I find that due to the poor fitting of the supplied patch cables that the sound quality, and performance, can be greatly reduced. My question is, has anyone found a way to over come this problem? I know that Robert is looking into this, and know not to use square wires (heads up to those newbies out there), but have yet to find a solution to this issue that works.
I’m also interested to know, how I can use the SV filter effectively. This is a bit of a call out for all those of you out there that are familiar with the AE Modular system. As someone who finds it difficult to read and retain information, on a subject that is new, I’m asking, is there any chance that some of you could produce a series of introductioary videos to the individual units of the basic 2 rack system? I would admit I am not completely new to modular, although my knowledge on how modules actually work is limited. I would appreciate if some of you could spend some of your valuable time trying to demonstrate this. I know Carsten, has begun this journey, and Tuesday Night, has some very useful video also. But what would be really useful would be some basics explanations and demonstrations of some units such as the basic system and its individual modules. Is there one or some amongst you who could do this for of us who need a little more explanation please? I know this would be gratefully recieved by those of us who aspire to be as good as the rest of you.
Could you consider helping the rest of us learn this fascinating area of sound and beat creation? I know I am at and sure others are at the place you were once, and am trying to get to where you are now, faster than I probably should, but truly feel that any video tutorials that teaches the basics would be gratefully recieved!!!
I truest appreciate your time, and good will, and hope you can aid those of us who are desperate to run, before we can walk. I hope you can provide some quality beginner tutorials, and help us all to take into consideration the good will that this modular system was initally invented (for everyone).
Many thanks in advance
Jeremy
