He is the Bob Ross of modular. My biggest take-away from this video is his talk about the Moog DFAM, as in it was all done in the 60's (that is 1960s for the youngsters out there ) but nobody thought about combining the different elements like that. So yes, instead of buying constantly the latest modules try to understand your current modules like the back of your hand and see whether you can re-appropriate those to do new things.

Totally - for all my lusting over new modules, my current unit is utterly full and i'm determined to keep it this way for a while - lots of untapped potential
Also just realised i can surely do something filthy with a Core.Ae firmware

Maybe I just need a kick?

Aha - i was really thinking about the existing firmwares; the Scheveningen oscillator is pretty gnarly as i remember! But i do also want to mess around with programming it myself, no prior experience though so it’ll be slow going.

I agree, I've read so much on these forums I can't recall who it was said something like this; find the spots where the slightest turn of a control has the most effect. I with my basic system, have found lots of way of creating stuff I didn't think I would be able to. Having done it I will do the same when some more modules arrive, I think it's a good habit to get into. Cheers
