I’ve been thinking how can one man invent and design all of this? Yes, I realize he has help to run the biz but still, it’s rather impressive. How does he do it???

Seriously though. As someone who has tried their hand at creating a few modules, Robert is absolutely prolific.

Haha, guys, this is the most amusing post! Indeed, looking back the last years of AE development, I can't believe the number of modules that came up (sometimes I'm joking "who has developed all these modules??!?"). But no, I'm not a genius; I only have the incredible opportunity to do what is the most fun for me all day long... Don't forget, I made a lot of synth stuff as a student decades ago, under much more difficult circumstances (no internet, no easy and cheap PCB production, no open-source microcontroller programming tools/arduinos, no lasercutters, no 3D-printers...), and after a long "synth-agnostic deep sleep" I woke up in another era. Now it feels like I can realize all the things I was dreaming of back then with a snap, so it seems a part of the work was already done and was waiting to be materialized now. Crazy thing, nevertheless... And, honestly, a lot of the AE modules are basic, not very complex, compared to other modules I see popping up in the eurorack world; things that consume way more development time. For some modules, I incorporate development from others (like SOLINA, TBD, CIRRUS) where I feel it fits in the AE line. And I also must mention some contributing and highly important soft-facts: The energy that is created by the community (a HUGE, HUGE thanks to Carsten who did the comunity building; I hadn't been able to do this anyhow near to what it is now) is such a driving force for me every day, reading your posts, listening what you are doing with your AE systems, seeing other module developers coming onboard, having an awesome team that supports me without any friction - all this evokes a kind of flow and energy that is far beyond my personal abilities (which are in fact quite limited by previous health issues and still current rheumatic problems). Let's summarize it in one word: LOVE. I simply love what is happening, what "I" am doing, and I wish everybody to experience this way of working and being. Yours, Robert

It's crazy how much of the current manufacturing landscape one can take for granted. 😅
You're an inspiration. Never stop! <3

... And, honestly, a lot of the AE modules are basic, not very complex, compared to other modules I see popping up in the eurorack world; things that consume way more development time. .... It's that simplicity and the plethora of patch points that come with them that make those 'simple' modules so capable of doing outside-the-box patching, especially one of my absolute favorite modules the seq8 can be turned turn it into something much more than just another 'boring' 8 step sequencer.
